This FRENCH project is intended as a culminating task for Études sociales 3e année - Patrimoine et identité : Les communautés du Canada au début des années 1800 (Grade 3 Social Studies - Communities in Canada, 1780-1850), aligned with the new 2023 Ontario Social Studies curriculum.

 

Students will research an early community (Early Settlers, Anishinaabe, Mi'kmaq, Métis, Cree, Haudenosaunee, or Inuit) and decorate a quilt. Their quilt will include a design that represents the daily life, home, clothing, food, work, and transportation of their chosen group.

 

This resource includes:
