This project is intended as a culminating task for Grade 7 Geography - Natural Resources Around the World.
In this assignment, students will explore and analyze one of the selected sources of energy (solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, biomass, nuclear) in depth.
Students will research, gather information, and answer a series of questions to gain a comprehensive understanding of the chosen energy source's characteristics, advantages, disadvantages, and its role in addressing global energy challenges.
For research, students can use notes that they took during the unit, their geography textbook, other non-fiction texts, or online sources.

B1. analyse aspects of the extraction/harvesting and use of natural resources in different regions of the world, and assess ways of preserving these resources
B2. use the geographic inquiry process to investigate issues related to the impact of the extraction/harvesting and/or use of natural resources around the world from a geographic perspective
B3. demonstrate an understanding of the sources and use of different types of natural resources and of some of the effects of the extraction/harvesting and use of these resources
