This Grade 2-4 New Year's Resolutions Paragraph Writing activity allows students to set goals for the new year. It is a perfect activity for back to school after the winter holiday break. Students will learn about what a resolution is, reflect on the previous year, and write a resolution (including 3 ways they can work towards their resolution and why it is important to them).
This resource does not state the current year, so it can be used for New Year's for years to come!
Options for in-person and virtual learning are included. In-person teachers may choose to use the slides to model a task in front of students during a lesson, then have the students complete the task on the printable pages. Virtual teachers may choose to use only the slides, or ask students to print the worksheets at home.
