In this workbook, students learn about Sécurité personnelle et prévention des blessures (Personal Safety) aligned with the new Grade 4 Ontario FRENCH Santé (Health) Curriculum.


In this workbook, students will delve into personal safety and injury prevention, starting with understanding bullying in its various forms such as physical, verbal, social, and cyberbullying. They will explore why people bully, the characteristics of bullies, and how to identify and respond to different types of bullying, including cyberbullying, through case studies and quizzes.

 

Moreover, students will learn about internet safety, responsible technology use, and the role of bystanders in preventing bullying, concluding with strategies for making safe choices and creating a classroom promise to prioritize safety and well-being.

 

 

There is a variety of readings, short answer questions, cut-and-paste activities, and drawing prompts included to create a varied workbook suitable for many learning styles.

 

To support assessment practices, Ontario curriculum expectations are clearly identified on each page. A unit test is included at the end of the workbook.
