In this task, students will explore Canada's history from 1713 to 1800. You'll research and assemble a time capsule with 5 items representing this period. The capsule will convey changes in the lives of different communities, including First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities, examine the shift from French to British power, and discuss the impact of key events between 1713 and 1800.
For research, students can use notes that they took during the unit, their history textbook, other non-fiction texts, or online sources.
